Notifications and Messages
Safe4 offers the ability to automatically notify other users whenever you upload a file. This will be done by email – importantly, files themselves are never carried by email, the notified users will have to click a link in the message and enter username, password and PIN before the file can be viewed.
The email will look similar to this:
If the link in the message is clicked, the Safe4 login screen will be shown. After logging in, a Notifications page will be displayed:
Clicking on the filename will open the file for viewing, and will update the file history. Clicking on the folder name will take you to the folder into which the file has been uploaded.
Messages are summarised on each user’s home page, in the dark band at the top of the screen:

As for the upload notification above, each of these files can be opened directly from this page. The folder can also be entered if required.
