Adding new Inheritance Vaults

As already indicated, each new member’s account is provided with 10 Vaults, which can be applied to your clients by renaming them. When you need to add a new Vault, after the initial 10 have been used up, the process to follow is based on copying a Vault to create the new one. For this reason each member’s provider account includes a Vault that can be copied; this is called “0 Sample Vault”:

When a new Vault is needed, click on the Actions box at the far right of the page alongside “0 Sample Vault”. This will open a dialog box:

Select the option to “Copy”. The following screen will appear:

Copy vault Sep 15

At this stage the name of your client should be entered into the Inheritance Vault Name field, to replace the text that is already there. You can if you wish use the Address tab to store the client’s address details. This will be purely for your convenience, as your client will never see this information. Click OK.

This process will create a new Inheritance Vault with exactly the same contents as the Sample Vault, including the permission settings.

After the new Vault has been created, your client can be invited to register as a user. Please refer to the appropriate section of this guide for instructions as to how this can be done.
