Controlling Permissions through Global User Management

Once the options for adding provider accounts and vaults to individual users has been completed, it is possible to manage the permissions and security groups that are applicable to each user through the same interface.

The Manage Users function should be selected from the menu band at the top of the Safe4 screen:

Selecting this option will bring up this screen:

On this occasion the system administrator (Safe4 Administration User) wishes to adjust the permissions and security groups that have been applied to Safe4 Admin User. This is done by selecting the chosen user:

In order to adjust the permissions or security groups in the Alpha and Omega Compliance provider account, the grid icon shown below should be selected:

This will offer the option to adjust permission settings in the case of provider users:

Or security group settings in the case of both provider and vault users:

Making changes to permissions or security groups will achieve exactly the same result as using the options available through the normal Safe4 user editing functions in management of providers and vaults.
