Advanced System Admin Overview

Introduction

This section of the Safe4 Guides addresses a number of System Administration functions:

• the ability to create and copy provider accounts
• the ability to manage users who will require access to more than one provider account or vault, without having to issue invitations to the users in question each time a new provider or vault is to be added to or removed from their own user account

The ability to perform the functions described in this section is strictly controlled, and is limited to System Administrators who have been expressly granted the necessary permission.

If this capability has not been provided to the System Administrator of your own organisation, you should contact the person who manages the Safe4 relationship on behalf of your organisation.

Safe4 provides a very flexible means of giving users access to different parts of the system. Provider users and vault users are similar in the way that they can perform the basic functions of uploading and consuming documents and data within the system. However the management and administration of the system is restricted to provider users only, and in particular to those who have been given System Administration rights.
